Two-minute quote

Get your number before you engage.

Our pricing is flat and published, but most filings fall somewhere between the base rate and a more involved return. This estimator gives you a realistic number before you engage — not a lowball that changes at signing.

Why we publish an estimator instead of "call for pricing".

Most tax practices quote a range only after a consultation, which means you can't compare options before committing your time. We'd rather you see a realistic number in two minutes and decide from there whether a call is worth booking — not the other way around.

How the estimate works.

Answer a few questions about your filing — entity type, number of states, number of shareholders for an 1120S, or the forms involved for a 1040 — and you'll get a price range based on our published rates. It takes about two minutes and doesn't require creating an account.

What can change the price.

Additional states add $95 each. Rental real estate (Schedule E), multiple Schedule Cs, or a shareholder count above what's typical for a small S-Corp move a filing outside the base rate. If your answers suggest any of this, the estimator flags it and gives you a range instead of a fixed number — we'll confirm the exact fee before any work begins.

What the estimate is not.

It's not a bill and it's not binding until we've actually reviewed your documents. If your filing turns out simpler than the estimate assumed, you pay less. If it's more complex, we'll tell you before starting — never after.

Comparing estimate to final invoice.

Most clients pay exactly what the estimator shows. If your actual documents reveal something the estimate didn't account for — an extra Schedule C, a shareholder added mid-year — we'll tell you the revised number before doing the work, not on the invoice. That conversation happens once, early, so there's no gap between what you expected and what you're billed.

Getting your number.

Run the estimator for a same-session number, or book a free 30-minute intro call if you'd rather talk through an unusual situation with a preparer directly.
